Quinceanara Dresses - The quinceanera tradition celebrates a young girls journey from childhood to maturity. The quince anos is a glorious celebration that remains a cherished and honored tradition. The quinceanara traditionally wears a ball gown, with her court dressed in gowns and tuxedos. A ball gown is the most formal female attire for special occasions. According to rules of etiquette a ball gown must be worn where “white tie” or evening dress is specified on the invitiation. A ball gown is defined as a full skirted gown reaching at least to the ankles, made of luxurious fabric, delicately and exotically trimmed. Most versions are strapless with sweetheart necklines. Mac Duggal quinceanara dresses have tulle skirts, taffeta pickups, pleating and trumpet styling. Although artificial fabrics are now sometimes used, the most common fabrics are satin, silk, taffeta and velvet with trimmings of lace, pearls, sequins, embroidery, ruffles and rouching.
