Jul. 3, 2018
4th of July is the holiday of the season. There are many traditions that you very well might partake in. Dressing in Red, White, and Blue from head to toe, watching or participating in a 4th of July parade, and most peoples favorite… FIREWORKS.
Although these are the traditions of thousands of people, it is always fun to start your own tradition with family and friends. Here are a few ways you could spend your 4th of July.
A DAY ON THE LAKE
Have a relaxing 4th of July by spending the day at a lake. There’s plenty to do for everyone. You can go boating and tubing on the lake, or stay on land and read, or lounge in a chair and enjoy the sun. Make sure to pack some food and drinks and be on the look out for fireworks and water-balloon fights or start your own!
A water ballon fight is a great way to have fun and stay cool on 4th of July. The best part of a water ballon fight is that there is no age cap. You could be 6 or 60 and still enjoy throwing balloons at your friends and family.
GOING TO A PARADE
Going to parades is a favorite of many children and a tradition to many families. Parades are fun to watch and often times provides children the opportunity to have a friendly competition of who will get the most candy.
Spend your day giving back. Enjoy Independence Day by helping someone else enjoy theirs. Take a trip to a Veteran’s home near you and spend the day playing games and talking with Veterans that have served our country.
No matter what you’re doing, declare your independence while looking fabulous in a Mac Duggal dress.
